Hot Lettuce is an alternative-rock band based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The three-piece band features two brothers, Jared and Brady Linnen, coming together with Manitoba-born Ryan Koltalo to form an eruptive take on the alt-rock sound. Officially formed in 2017, the band combines influences ranging from The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Foo Fighters, to the Black Keys and the White Stripes. HotLettuce is still early in their career but is beginning to develop their sound that includes high-energy guitar riffs, layered vocals, driving baselines, and bombastic drums all while creating a fun, party vibe for their listeners.
Over the past year Hot Lettuce has played various shows around the Saskatoon and Regina area including a sold out EP release show and opening for The Dead South in Kuroki, SK. In July of 2018, they released their first self-titled EP, recorded at Ghetto Box Studios in Saskatoon, SK. It was later listed on Kamloops’ CFBX and Burnaby’s CJSF Top 30 charts within the same year. They also released their new single and music video “Orange and Beautiful” in February of 2019, which was mixed by Barrett Ross and mastered by Trevor Case of Case Mastering.
